Collaborative Strategic Management:
Strategy plays a prominent role for the continued sustainability
in the competitive business arena in this era of globalization.
Strategic management is the dynamic process of aligning strategies,
performance and business results; it is all about people, leadership,
technology, and processes. Effective combination of these elements
will help with the strategic direction and successful service delivery.
With the advent of information age and globalization, the strategies
necessary for success have become more complicated, sophisticated,
and even radical. So companies have stopped relying on their own
brains alone to come up with the right strategies. Here comes the
role of collaboration.
Collaboration brings together businesses that
would normally be competing with one another in order to share the
best practices, solve problems, and in effect help themselves by
helping one another to create synergy.
Collaboration has thus become the buzzword of
the corporate world. Collaborative strategic management is the need
of the hour, not only to survive in a competitive and dynamic market
but also to flourish and grow in the future. It is not just a technique
for reducing cost, but also a strategy for gaining superior capabilities
and contextual knowledge. Hence the role of strategic collaboration.
